As a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, The INN provides a variety of essential services to assist those challenged by hunger, homelessness and profound poverty and lacks an efficient way to track and store food inventory and they use an unorganized shelving system.

Project Timeline:
01 Define
To make the INN’s system more efficient, we designed a mobile app and storage layout that will sort the inventory by the following categories:
Type of food
Quantity
Size
Expiration date
So that the INN staff can easily access inventory for meal preparations and quickly add or deduct food from a categorized digital inventory log to save time and help clients achieve self-sufficiency.
